PARASI: Locals and the kin of the victims of Parasi tragedy called a bazaar bandh demanding compensation and legal action against the culprit behind the incident in Parasi, Nawalparasi on Thursday. Marketplaces and industries remained shut and vehicles remained off the roads due to the strike.

The police said that they have been trying to capture the culprit in the incident. They informed that despite extensive efforts they have not been able to trace the driver.

Four persons were killed and 20 injured when a bus heading from Narayangadh to Bhairahawa collided with a truck heading to Butwal in Dunkibas, Nawalparasi on December 29.
