POKHARA: A person was found dead in a rented room near an eye hospital in Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City-17 in Kaski district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Lila Bahadur Kunwar (58), a permanent resident of Parbat district.

Kunwar was found dead in his rented room of the house owned by Krishna Bahadur Gurung yesterday, according to the Baidam-based Ward Police Office.

Kunwar, who had gone to bed after having meal on Monday evening, did not get up till late morning after which the house owner informed the police.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been taken to the Western Regional Hospital for the postmortem, said police.
