Parliament endorses bill on local polls

KATHMANDU: The Parliament on Thursday endorsed the bill on local election through majority votes.

Earlier the House had endorsed other bills -- bill on Election Commission, bill on voters' list and bill on election-related offences.

Two lawmakers of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party had cast their votes against the bill.
