KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party senior leader Pashupati Shamsher Rana has said the Hindu state and the constitutional monarchy were core principles of his party.

Leader Rana further said the RPP would make efforts to restore these principles at any const.

During a cadre meeting organised by the Kathmandu District Working Committee of the party in the Capital on Sunday, senior leader Rana argued that RPP time and again won people's trust due to these principles.

The Election Commission, however, deceived the party by scrapping these principles from the party statute, he added.

He further said that time had come for the leaders and cadres to mull how the party would be made successful in the coming local level elections.
