Paudel stresses Nepali Congress unity

Damauli, March 17

Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel stressed the need to lead the party in line with the party’s ideology.

Speaking at a programme held in Damauli, Tanahun today, the NC leader urged party men to take the election results during the party’s 13th general convention as something natural.

“Elections and their results victory or defeat are natural and inevitable, so regardless of the results I extend my sincere gratitude to all the leaders and cadres who supported me during the recent convention,” said the leader.

He highlighted the need to take the party ahead as a united whole.

Terming his stint as the acting party president a success, Paudel said, “I would call my stint as acting president successful in view of how I managed to accomplish the responsibility of holding the party general convention.”

“I’m ready to bear any responsibility entrusted by the party in future too,” he said, adding that the party will play a constructive role in resolving the problems in the country from the opposition itself.

He also suggested to the recently elected party president that he should move ahead by taking everyone into confidence.
