KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run case at Kawasoti VDC in Nawalparasi district, on Monday.

According to police, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

The deceased, who seemed to be in his mid-50s, was hit by a vehicle, which police are yet to identify, at around 10:45 pm yesterday, police added.

Police are in search of the vehicle driver who has fled the scene after the incident.
