KAWASOTI: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a tractor at Harbasi Chowk in Kawasoti-16 of Nawalparasi district.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Chaudhary (25) of Bardaghat. He died while undergoing treatment at the Madhyabindu Community Hospital in Danda.

Chaudhary was hit by the tractor (Lu 2 Ta 7166), according to the Area Police Office, Nawalpur.

Police have impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for investigation.
