BIRATNAGAR: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident in Sundar Dulari-6 of Morang district along the East-West Highway last night, police said.

The deceased is Ram Bilas Chaudhary of Kosi Haraicha-4 of the district.

The accident took place when a motorbike (Ko 5 Pa 8134) knocked him down at the place, police added.

Critically injured Chaudhary had died in course of treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
