KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died after a truck with Indian registration number plate hit him in Arunkhola of Nawalparasi on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Baduwa Mahato (24) of Madyebindu-5, Nawalparasi.

Police said that the truck hit Mahato at around 6:45 pm yesterday.

Police said they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
