People are fed up with govt: Minister Yadav

Hetauda, July 5

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply Matrika Yadav has noted growing frustration among the public and urged the political leadership to be prepared to rectify its shortcomings.

Inaugurating a newly-built tanker calibration facility in Hetauda Industrial Estate today, he said, “People see us as a bunch of incompetent sods with ulterior motives, which is so sad. So, it’s high time we acted to change this outlook of the public towards us and politics.”

“Not only political leaders, ministers and legislators, but also the government employees are being looked down upon due to their link with political crooks, which does not bode well.

It calls for reviewing and rectifying ourselves to win the trust of the people,” he said.

On the occasion, the minister also informed that the calibration facility was meant to correct the weaknesses seen during the transportation of petroleum products.

“We’ve launched many movements so far which have been quite successful. Now we need to wage yet another movement which will be against all the irregularities and ills, gripping our country,” the minister said.
