People watching parties, govt: Rai
Kathmandu: Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai on Wednesday said the people have been watching political parties and the administration, so the traditional way of delivering service should be changed.
At a programme organised to bid farewell to Joint Secretary Kabiraj Khanal, who retired on ground of age limit on Wednesday, Minister Rai said the people had excused the administration and political leaders during the conflict.
“Now the situation has changed; society has now become open. We’re now on a new journey. So, all need to internalise this reality,” he stressed.
The Minister urged everyone to make their contribution to implementing the constitution effectively, reasoning that promulgation of the new constitution had led the country towards stability.
On the occasion, Acting Secretary at the Ministry Yek Narayan Aryal, lauded the administrative competence of the retiring Joint Secretary Khanal.
