MAHOTTARI: An unidentified group of people hurled a petrol bomb at a boarding school in Sonamai VDC-2 of Mahottari district on Friday night.

According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, an unidentified group of people had thrown the petrol bomb at SM Galaxy English Boarding School at midnight.

DSP Binod Silwal informed that the fire had destroyed the cupboard, furniture, stationery items and other important documents in the room of principal.

The fire has destroyed property worth around Rs 200,000.
