KATHMANDU: A pillion rider died in a motorbike accident at Bhagwanpur, Dhanushadham-7 in Dhanusa district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified Ram Ekbal Sada (45) of Dhanusadham-7.

Critically injured in the incident, Sada was rushed to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital but breathed his last during the course of treatment.

The incident occurred at around 7 pm yesterday.

The Area Police Office has impounded the bike (Ja 4 Pa 2452) and arrested its rider for further investigation.
