Pistol, bullets seized from wanted criminal's house in Saptari

RAJBIRAJ: Nepal Police raided a wanted criminal's house in Koshi Tappu region of Saptari district and seized a firearm and bullets on Friday evening.

Acting on tip-off, a team deployed from the District Police Office, Saptari, had gone to Nasarul Miyan (38)'s residence in Gobargadha VDC-3 for the raid.

Miyan, who is accused of murder attempt, however, managed to flee the house. He escaped to neighbouring India, police said.

A homemade gun and three bullets were found in Miyan's house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dan Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office.
