The family of Bidi Kunwar, 12, has filed a case against Krishna Bahadur Gurung, their landlord, at the District Police Office, Kaski, accusing him of torturing the girl. Gurung is a resident of ward 10 of Pokhara sub-metro. Chandra Kunwar, mother of Bidi, has filed the writ against Gurung accusing him of torturing her daughter since October 10. The DPO will investigate the case after arresting Gurung. Yesterday, Gurung made the girl chew rice for one hour after accusing her of stealing gold.
