KATHMANDU, JANUARY 17

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the Health Minister to convene an executive committee meeting of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan to address the ongoing issues.

During a meeting at his official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday, he summoned Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal.

Prime Minister Dahal instructed them to resolve the problems by addressing the demands of teachers, staff, and doctors at the institution, according to his press advisor, Govinda Acharya.

Taking note of the current situation at BPKIHS, Prime Minister Dahal emphasized the importance of addressing the matter promptly, given the impact on essential health services.

He stressed the need to consider the demands of teachers, staff, and doctors, as the current situation is affecting both patients and the general public.
