PM Dahal lands in Delhi

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who had left Kathmandu for India to take part in the BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit on Saturday morning, landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

Charge d’affaires of Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, and officials at the Ministry of External Affairs received PM Dahal at the Airport.

The Summit is scheduled to be held in Goa on October 16.

According to the PM’s Secretariat, he would leave for Goa today itself.

During the visit, he is also scheduled to have bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, South African President Jacob Zuma and Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.

He would return home on October 17.
