KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 25

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has extended her best wishes to Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad on the occasion of Christmas, the principal festival of Christians.

Taking to social media, the Prime Minister conveyed her Christmas greetings, writing: "May this festival, which carries the message of love, peace, compassion, and goodwill, inspire all of us to further promote mutual understanding, coexistence, and harmony by strengthening the shared values of humanity."

She further stated that festivals such as Christmas, celebrated in a country that is a confluence of diverse religions, languages, and cultures, have contributed to reinforcing national unity in diversity. On the occasion of the festival, she wished all Nepalis peace, happiness, prosperity, and progress.

Christians across the world, including in Nepal, are celebrating Christmas today, December 25.
