Kathmandu, September 6:

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Girija Prasad Koirala and President of NC (Democratic) Sher Bahadur Deuba are meeting tomorrow to give the “final touch” to the unification process, party sources said today.

A central committee meeting of the party at Koirala’s Baluwatar residence today mandated the PM to give a final shape to the unification of the two parties, NC leader Arjun Narsingh KC said.

The party meeting, stalled today, would convene on Saturday to discuss and could even endorse the unification if tomorrow’s “final talks between Koirala and Deuba are positive.” It also discussed the law and order and reviewed the current political scenario and the Tarai stir.
