DOHA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Doha today on his way to Kathmandu after attending the 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Oli is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya.
Prime Minister Oli led a 21-member Nepali delegation to the Summit held in Baku from 25 to 26 of October 2019. Upon arrival at the Hamad International Airport, Prime Minister Oli and his delegation was received by Nepali Ambassador to Qatar Dr Narad Nath Bharadwaj Wagley and senior officials at the Embassy of Nepal to Qatar.
Prime Minister Oli and the Nepali delegation will leave Doha for Kathmandu on a Qatar Airways flight to reach there later today.
Earlier, at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Prime Minister Oli was seen off by Minister of Transport, communications and high technology of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade, Deputy Foreign Minister Ramiz Huseynov and other senior officials of the Foreign Ministry.
Prime Minister Oli and the Nepali delegation will leave Doha for Kathmandu via a regular Qatar Airways flight and reach home later this morning.
