PM trying to prolong stay in power: Paudel

Phidim, January 2

Nepali Congress central leader Pradip Paudel today accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of trying to prolong his stay in power instead of resolving the crisis facing the country.

Speaking at a press meet organised in Phidim, Paudel also accused Oli of trying to forge unity between communist parties to prolong his stay in power. “The earthquake victims are dying for want of food and warm clothes, while the ongoing Madhes agitation has paralysed life across the country. But, Oli is totally apathetic,” Paudel stated. He said both Sadbhawana Party Chair Rajendra Mahato and PM Oli hold extremist views on Tarai and hills respectively.

“Two extremist views held by PM and the agitating parties is holding the country hostage,” he argued. Paudel claimed that the ingovernment could collapse anytime as it was an amalgamation of people and parties holding opposing views and ideologies.
