Woman’s gold chain snatched in Pokhara

POKHARA: Two motorcycle-borne robbers snatched a gold chain off a woman's neck at Bagar, Pokhara-1 and fled the scene, on Sunday afternoon.

Eye witnesses said the robbers wielded a sharp weapon.

The chain made up of five tola gold is worth Rs 295,000 as per today's market.

The victim is a resident of Gharipatan in Pokhara-17, according to the Spokesperson at Kaski District Police Office, Gaju Siddhi Bajracharya,

It has been learned that the suspects had used motorcycle with fake registration number, police said.

Security has been beefed up at all the entry and exit points of the tourist city after the incident.
