PARBAT: Police have arrested a woman for allegedly murdering her newborn at Chirdikhola in Parbat district on Friday.

According to the District Police Office, Parbat, Mina Chhetri (31) had buried her newborn in a field after giving birth.

Acting on a tip off, a police team reached the incident site and recovered the minor’s body from the field.

The body has been sent to the District Hospital for autopsy, police informed.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
