Police on Sunday arrested two persons who were allegedly the major narcotics sellers in Sudurpaschim province.
A team of police led by Police Inspector Kamal Kumar Khadka at Ballauri Area Police Office, arrested two Indian nationals and seized brown heroin at around 6:00 pm Sunday from Nakaiya custom in Belauri Municipality-6 of the district.
According to police, the arrestee has been identified as Ram Singh (19) and Dharamvir Singh (23).
According to Khadka, the duo was apprehended with 10.42 grams of illegal substances in their possession.
Belauri police, according to Khadka, have filed 24 cases against 54 people in the last year.
Despite the police's efforts to curb drug use in the area, the number of drug users continues to climb.
