BHAKTAPUR: Police have apprehended a person on the charge of theft in Bhaktapur, on Thursday.

The arrested has been identified as Bikash Maharjan (30), resident of Kathmandu.

Maharjan was arrested on the charge of stealing gold and silver jewelleries, and money belonging to Binod Parajuli — a permanent resident of Mandan Deupur in Kavrepalankchok district — who was residing in a hotel operated by Raman Hari Bhurtel in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-3, Ghattaghar, police said.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
