RAUTAHAT: A police constable was killed when a bus hit a motorcycle he was riding on at Chandranigahapur of Gaur along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.

Shyam Sundar Singh was killed on the spot when the bus (Na 5 Kha 5012) hit the motorcycle (on-test) at 8 pm yesterday.

According to DSP Rajendra Pokharel of the Disrict Police Office, Rautahat, Singh, deployed at Dhanauli of Dhanusha, was returning home when the incident occurred.

DSP Pokharel said that the Area Police Office, Garuda has impouned the bus and arrested its driver, Chandra Timilsina for investigation.
