BIRGUNJ: A police team deployed by District Police Office, Parsa raided a printing press on Wednesday and seized 50 cartons of expired juice while arresting press employees who were renewing the expiration date.

Police have arrested two press employees, Om Bahadur Karki and Laxmi Sah Kanu, who were caught in the act, from the press based at Railway Road, Birgunj Metropolitan City-5, Superintendent of Police, Rewati Dhakal informed.

The accused were preparing to dispatch the expired goods to market after renewing expiration date of 3,000 cans of Korean product, Dellos Orange Drink Juice, SP Dhakal said.

Likewise, police have also seized stamps of government organisations and a printing machine.

The facts behind case will unravel after further investigation, police said.
