KATHMANDU: Nepal Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato charged that the government formed a political mechanism a day before Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli embarked on India visit just to fool the southern neighbour.

Speaking at press conference at the party's headquarters on Tuesday, Mahato said, "I have heard that the government has formed a political mechanism under (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs) Kamal Thapa. I don't know what the mechanism will do. So what should I comment on that?"

He maintained that the political mechanism was a conspiracy and formed merely to fool the world, particularly to India.

The Nepal Sadbhawana Party Chairman said the form of protest has been changed at present, and warned that the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) would resort to stern protest if the government did not address its demands at the earliest.

According to him, the Madhesi parties are preparing for a decisive agitation which would be launched in mid-April.

Moreover, Mahato said that the dispute on demarcation of province would be sorted out only by forming two provinces in Madhes.
