Poll process to gain momentum: Nembang
Ilam, June 8:

Speaking at a programme organised under the aegis of the Ilam District Development Committee, he said a discussion has been going on since yesterday over the issue of holding the CA elections by mid-December.
“Confusion persisted as the CA polls could not be held by mid-June as per the first amendment of the constitution,” he said, adding that a clear picture will emerge in a week.”
“A discussion over adopting proportional election system has been going on with parties and other stakeholders. A decision on the issue will be made soon.”
Urging the political parties not to trade allegations in public, he said, “Parties should discuss their disputes in a closed room.” He called on the parties to go to the people with a vision.
