Poor leadership to blame for surge in crime: Odd
DHANGADI, JANUARY 21
Nepali Congress Dhangadi Municipal Committee President Nripa Bahadur Odd said that crime had increased after communists offered garlands to criminal-minded people.
Addressing a protest assembly in Dhangadi today, Odd said communists had protected rapists, thieves, murderers and the corrupt, among others, during three years in power.
He added that communists with two-thirds majority could not run the country and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had dissolved the House of Representatives after the government failed on every front.
He opined that PM Oli was thus morally bound to leave his post.
Odd further said that the government had done nothing to promote people’s lifestyle.
