The westerly wind currently has a partial influence on Nepal, and the Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly region and generally fair in the rest of the country.
Meteorologist Shanti Kandel has mentioned that in the afternoon today, it will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and generally fair in the rest of the country.
She also added that while there are chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, the weather will be fair in most other areas.
The maximum temperature in Kathmandu is expected to range between 24 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.
