Power supply resumes in Tatopani area
KATHMANDU: The power supply in Tatopani area, which had been obstructed by a sudden flood in Bhotekoshi River, has resumed from today.
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Sunkoshi centre stated that regular power supply has been provided at the dry port construction area in Tatopani VDC after Division Road Office repaired the road section there.
The sudden flood in the River on June 5 had swept away the transformer and electricity utility poles there.
The locals in Barhabise, Gati, Marming, Maneshwara, Ghumthang, Listi among other VDCs were compelled to live in darkness since June 5.
