Dhading, November 23:

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) cut power supply to Nilkantha Community Eye Centre today after it failed to clear its dues.

The centre has been operating services in the building of the Nepal Red Cross Society, Dhading.

Supervisor of NEA Dhading Sita Raj Duwadi said the power supply was cut because the NRCS failed to clear dues even after collecting power charge from the centre.

“The bill could not be cleared as the collected amount was spent for office management,” said treasurer of the NRCS, Sita Ram Koirala.
