KATHMANDU: President of UCPN-M Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) visited Pokhara for family gathering on Tuesday.

It is reported that no formal programme would be organised during his visit. However, he will meet members of Tamuwan State Committee (TSC) and his relatives.

He was greeted by Hit Raj Pandey, politburo member of UCPN-M and the in-charge of TSC, Shree Nath Adhikari, central member and co-incharge of the TSC, Prakash Pokharel, co-secretary of TSC and Ram Kaji Tamu on arrival.

It has also been reported that he would visit Palpa at 2pm after organising a press conference.

At this phase where the three major political parties are trying to find a way out of the transitional political phase, his visit is an indication that the solution would not be achieved before this Dashain.
