Prachanda wants SPA unity intact
Dang, February 2:
Maoist chairman Prachanda today directed party cadres to work actively for the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.
Addressing a party cadres’ two-day training organised by the Western Region Inter Regional Coordination Committee in Tulsipur, he said: “The unity of seven parties should be intact to hold a meaningful poll. Otherwise, the entire election would be at a risk.”
Saying that regressive forces were aggravating the Madhes problem, he said the SPA meet that would be held tomorrow would draw conclusion over the issues including Madhes problem, implementation of 23-point of agreement and Free Students’ Union poll.
Maoists supremo Prachanda and central members including Post Bahadur Bogati, Netra Bikram Chand, Hemanta Prakash Oli, Narayan Sharma and PLA deputy commanders Nanda Kishor Pun and Janardan Sharma, among others, are attending the training.
Some 1,200 cadres of Tharuwan Rajya Samiti and Magarant Rajya Samiti are also attending the training.
