Prachanda’s call for lasting peace

Kathmandu, September 20:

On the eve of International Day of Peace, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that sustainable peace and equitable socio-cultural and economic development were the common aspirations and needs of the Nepali people and that the aspirations would not be met until the just demand and voices of the people in general for proportionate access in every organ and level of the state was not fulfilled.

In a message today, Prime Minister Prachanda said the ongoing peace process has passed an important phase of transition following the CA election, successful enforcement of the federal republic and constitution of the people’s elected government.

The success of the peace process would also be measured by the initiative taken for rehabilitation of the PLA, he said.
