KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday authenticated the Local Level Election Bill and the Election Offence and Punishment Bill on Friday.

The two bills were recently endorsed by the Parliament and the President enacted them in accordance to Article 113.2 of the Constitution, according to Assistant Spokesperson at the President's Office, Prahlad Prasad Pudasaini.

These laws are two significant documents required to hold local level elections.
