BARA: A pressure cooker bomb went off targeting a Nepali Congress candidate for the provincial elections from Bara Constituency-4 (1) this morning.

An unidentified group targeted the Scorpio jeep (Ba 14 Cha 6330) of candidate Om Krishna Karki during an election campaign at 5:30 am today.

According to SP Bhuwan Bhatta at Simara Area Police Office, police are yet to know the culprit behind the incident. “No human casualties was reported.”

All the materials used in election publicity were gutted and the windows were shattered, said police.
