Prez calls all to unite for New Nepal

Banjho (Ilam), December 3:

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said the unity among the people of all castes, creed and religions from Mechi to Mahakali is the only way for building new and better Nepal. The youths, who are the pillars of the country, have greater responsibility for achieving this, he said.

Speaking at a programme to mark the 55th birth anniversary of Kirant religious priest Falgunanda Lingden in Ilam’s Banjho-based Larumba today,

Dr Yadav said people from all ethnic communities should move ahead maintaining religious harmony. Saying the religious tolerance and ethnic integrity are the major embellishments of the nation, he said the divine message of Falgunanda still conveyed the same values even today. Speaking on the occasion, CA Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang said the political parties, instead of indulging in the blame game, should pay attention to write a people-oriented constitution. Claiming that the new constitution would be ready on schedule, he said,

“The petty differences will not last long and the parties for fulfilling the responsibilities given by the people will complete drafting the new constitution ultimately.” He said all were equally responsible to build new Nepal.

On the occasion, they also inspected Kirant’s holy site Manghim.
