Price hike protested
Kathmandu, March 31:
Protesting against the “sky-rocketing” prices and load-shedding, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) organised a motorcycle rally from Baneshwor, Kathmandu, today.
Flagging off the rallyists, party chairman Pashupati SJB Rana came down heavily on the government for working against the “interests of the people”.
“We have been compelled to take to the streets as nobody paid heed to our demand of dialogue and consensus among all the constitutional forces,” party chairman said. He urged the King to initiate for talks with the constitutional forces and the Maoists.
