PM Oli in France after visiting UK
Kathmandu, June 13
After completing his official visit to the United Kingdom, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today reached Paris for a three-day formal visit to France.
Upon his arrival at Gare Du Nord Station in Paris, the prime minister was welcomed by the Ambassador of Nepal to France Dipak Adhikari, Ambassador of France to Nepal François-Xavier Leger, French Protocol and officials from the embassy.
Later in the afternoon, PM Oli addressed a programme attended by representatives of the French Business Community. The programme was organised by the Federation of National Chambers of Industries and Commerce of France at MEDEF Headquarters in Paris. Following the event, he held separate meetings with representatives of selected French companies. In both interactions and separate meetings, the prime minister highlighted investment opportunities available in Nepal and invited French companies to invest in Nepal.
In the evening, PM Oli and his delegation attended a reception hosted by Ambassador Adhikari in his honour.
PM Oli is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, the prime minister’s advisers and other high ranking officials of the Government of Nepal, said a press release issued by Embassy of Nepal in Paris.
