KATHMANDU: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will visit Nepal from May 11 to 12. Kundan Aryal, press adviser to Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, said the government had endorsed Indian PM’s visit for May 11 and 12.

He said the Indian PM would attend a civic reception in Janakpur, the birth place of Sita.

This will be Modi’s third visit to Nepal since he assumed office in 2014. Modi visited Nepal in August 2014 for the first time when he addressed the Constituent Assembly.

He visited Nepal again in November 2014 to attend the SAARC Summit, along with top leaders of seven other countries.
