Prime Minister Oli receives Guard of Honour in Beijing

BEIJING: A guard of honour was accorded to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing today.

PM Oli, who is on a six-day official visit to China, received the guard of honour on the third day of his visit. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang was present on the occasion.

Earlier, PM Oli had met with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Li Zhanshu.

In the meeting, the two leaders held discussions on matters of bilateral and mutual interests. Prime Minister Oli also congratulated Li Zhanshu on his election to the post and wished for his successful tenure.

Chairman Li, on the other hand, inquired about the post-quake reconstruction projects and their progress in Nepal.

Nepalese delegates were also present at the meeting.
