PM Deuba casts his Vote in Dadeldhura's Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality
DADELDHURA: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba cast his vote in the second phase of local level elections at the Asigram Higher Secondary School, the polling station in Ruwakhola, Ganyapdhura Rural Municipaltiy-1 in Dadeldhura district on Wednesday.
PM Deuba, who had arrived with his spouse Arzu Rana Deuba three days ago, cast their votes from the voting centre at 8: 20 am this morning.
PM Deuba told the mediapersons that the local villagers were excited to participated as the second phase of local level elections were held in peaceful, free and fair manner. He assured that the constitution's full-fledged implementation would take its course once the local government was established, and that the development works would move forward efficiently, rapidly and transparently.
He also spoke with the local villagers and urged everyone to participate in the voting process.
The PM left for Kathmandu after casting vote, his personal secretary Bhanu Deuba informed.
The voting centre at the Asigram Higher Secondary School is located 21 km southeast of the district headquarters Baghkhor.
PM Deuba had studied at grade V at the school. The secondary level study was established at the school with his initiative.
