KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and properties in Bara and Parsa districts due to strong winds last night.

PM Oli, who is on a visit to eastern Nepal, is scheduled to travel to Bara and Parsa today to monitor the relief and rescue works being carried out there.

According to PM's press advisor Kundan Aryal, the Prime Minister is headed to the disaster-hit area to take stock of the situation.
