KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 1
The Prithvi Highway has been closed for two hours today, according to a notice issued by the Nepal Police.
The closure, effective from 12:00 PM, is enforced to clear debris caused by a landslide at Jhyaple Khola in Dhading, which was triggered by incessant rain.
Following the landslide, the highway has been operational in one direction only. Authorities are advising passengers planning to travel on this route to contact the relevant district police office for updates before their journey.
