Private hospital shows the way

Itahari, August 30:

Doctors from a private hospital have been running a health camp for flood victims in Inaruwa-based Bal Mandir Lower Secondary School.

People living in temporary camps have been suffering from various water-borne ailments. Doctors from Lunkarandas-Gangadevi Chaudhari Charity Hospital have been running the camp.

“Taking into account the demands of the patients, we are planning to run the camp for a week,” said Mastaram Biswas, a staffer of the hospital. “Earlier, we had planned to run the camp for two days,” he added.

Satya Narayan Meheta, a teacher, said the camp should be run for at least 15 days. More such camps are needed to treat the patients, the victims said.
