DAMAULI: Former prime minister and senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal on Sunday underscored the need for developing Tanahun as a smart city.

Attending a function organised by Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus, leader Nepal said Tanahun should be developed as a smart city by incorporating Damauli, Bandipur and Dumre.

He also said tourism in the district ought to be promoted.
