BHOJPUR: Property worth Rs 5 lakh turned into ashes after a fire spread in Biratnagar Sub-metropolitans in Morang on Tuesday.

The fire broke out suddenly from a house belonging to Rajesh Lakhutiya of the sub-metropolis. Properties, including two motorcycles, turned into ashes in the blaze.

Police said locals, police personnel deployed from Ward Police Office and fire engines had brought the fire under control.
