Property worth Rs 2 lakh was gutted when the house of Bramha Dev Yadav of Dharampur VDC caught fire on on Thursday night. According to the area police office Garuda, rice, ornaments and clothes were destroyed in the fire.

Human loss was averted as the family was away feasting in a village party. The cause of the fire was not known. Police inspector Bijay Yadav said necessary investigation was on.
